Inn at the Park

Clean and updated room, but the staff and location really make it an amazing place. Staff is really helpful and welcoming. There are activities and a laundry room, BBQs on the roof. Rooftop view is wonderful. And it is across the street from Balboa Park and the Zoo. Really a great place, we will be back.

Esme truly goes above and beyond. Her warm, welcoming personality made us feel immediately at home and treated like family rather than guests. She brings such genuine care and positivity to The Inn at the Park, and it really elevates the entire experience. Because of her, our stay felt personal, comfortable, and memorable. We can’t say enough good things about Esme, she is a true asset to the Inn and the reason we would happily return.

Our one bedroom suite was quite nice. The ambience of the hotel has been maintained and the staff are quite helpful. Its location is directly across the street from Balboa Park - a real plus for us. The neighborhood is eclectic with only a couple of restaurants within walking distance. Use the valet parking because there is only limited street parking around the hotel.

Just an awesome place to stay! Beautiful Suites with all the amenities one would want. Excellent staff and Customer Care. Perfect location across from Balboa Park with easy access to freeways and all points in San Diego including the convention center.

Stayed two weeks first week in a one bedroom and second week in a two bedroom. Rooms were updated but furniture was not comfortable and not right sized for the large living room areas. Neighborhood is awesome with lots of local eating choices within walking distance. Location by the park is almost perfect. We’re timeshare owners but I would recommend avoiding the sales pitch all together they cannot be trusted. Their presentation manipulates and misrepresents so don’t waste the time. Definitely recommend the property and will stay there again. This was our third time. The property cannot control the noise but there were three major condo projects under construction and we were woken up every weekday morning to the related noise. Be prepared with ear protection if you want to sleep late. Staff were amazing!!

Great views from seventh floor outdoor wrap around deck. Big spacious rooms but no ovens in rooms even though it used to be apartments before turned into a timeshare property.

No complaints whatsoever! We stayed at a 2BR unit. All was fine. The living was quite spacious. Location was good. Valet parking worked out for us.

The young man that checked me in Friday afternoon really set the stage for my stay. He was welcoming, attentive and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was one of the best experiences I can remember. Aaron not only checked my family and I promptly in he also went over the different accommodations in the room, places nearby that may be worth checking out and even how to work the tv. Great job Aaron!
